"MIDI Locator free" runs on Windows Vista® and Windows XP®.

On Windows Vista® even in normal mode, you don't need to turn of UAC or to run it in any compatiblity mode.

"MIDI Locator free" needs Microsoft DirectX®, at least version 8.

You can see which version is on your system if you start dxdiag.exe in your system32 folder. On the first page the version info appears at the bottom.

Download "MIDI Locator free"


You first have to download and execute the "Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package (x86)". This is a package of system components needed to run MIDI Locator free. Those components are exluded in "MIDI Locator free" to keep the download small. You can try to start MIDI Locator free without it, there is a good chance that other software already installed this package. But if you get an error message saying "application configuration wrong", or something like that, first install

and then
