Installation guide MIDI Locator free !

If you have used any old version of MIDI Locator :

Uninstall it first. If you are familar with closer stuff of your PC : go into regedit, and delete the "HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Rittberger Applications"-tree. Don't try this, if you don't have a clue about that.

For the current version of MIDI Locator free ! and MIDI Locator full version you need Microsoft's .net framework and Microsoft's DirectX. Because those operating-system-enhancements should already be on your PC by factory, you are normaly not forced to install them (MIDI Locator is written to be used on Windows 2000 or Windows XP or up). Only if MIDI Locator's Setup should make a problem, try to get .net framework by visiting www.microsoft.com and go to downloads, enter ".net framework" in the Keywords field. In the following list select "Download or Order the CD for the .NET Framework". Install .net framework on your PC. If you have installed MIDI Locator, and you start it, but there appears a message box saying something about a wrong or missing "DirectX" version, redo the same step for DirectX if it isn't installed on your PC.

Normaly you should only

• Download MIDI Locator free !
  
• Unzip the downloaded .zip file to any new folder
  
• Start setup.exe in that folder
