Entrinsik Informer 5.4 coming soon

The next update to Entrinsik’s Informer platform is coming soon, according to Madhavi Chandra, director of Informer product management.

In a recent blog post, sHe described some of the new features to strengthen data governance and business workflows that customers can expect in the next release.

The update will include a new field security model that enables granular field-level security – users can restrict and grant differentiated access to fields in the same mapping. Sharing a dataset will now provide row and field level restrictions for more robust security. New security features are backward compatible with previous versions of Informer.

New Elastic Script fields allow users to grow datasets without having to reindex the data.

Since interacting with large amounts of data can be difficult, the company has improved column selection across the board so that users can quickly navigate, find a field, and collapse view by dynamically choosing which fields they want. they wish to see.

There are also two new visuals in the Visual Gallery that include Heat Map and Spider Chart, increasing the number of ways users view their data.

There are two important features behind an experimental indicator: model preview and a new web data source driver.

The model preview allows for pixel-perfect control over the output. Users can create the exact layout they want using HTML with server side rendering.

This mode allows full flexibility in the design of a model. Future template features will include different ways of customizing the existing PDF exporter and other custom template experiences.

The Datasource web driver connects Informer 5 to web tools, opening the door to limitless possibilities, depending on the vendor.
